We invite and encourage you to take part in our upcoming education programs. Registration is required for all programs. To register, use our online registration process (click on the button to the right of the program you are interested in) or call your local office at 1.800.272.3900 at least one week prior to the program. If you are interested in registering for a program that is less than a week away, please call your local office to see if space is still available.
Understanding Alzheimer’s
Interested in learning more about memory loss and signs of Alzheimer’s disease? You’re invited to take part in this introductory program on Alzheimer’s. You’ll learn how to:
Recognize possible signs of Alzheimer’s disease
- Learn how Alzheimer’s memory loss is different than normal signs of aging.
Understand how Alzheimer’s disease is diagnosed
- Find out why it’s important to obtain a diagnosis and get treatment options.
Recognize the effects of Alzheimer’s on the brain
- Learn what behavioral changes can occur as the disease progresses.
Gain access to community resources and chapter services
- Discover what Alzheimer resources are available in your community and how the Alzheimer’s Association can help you.
All programs are free,
but a donation of $10 per person (or family) per session is suggested.
