Education Programs

We invite and encourage you to take part in our upcoming education programs. Registration is required for all programs. To register, use our online registration process (click on the button to the right of the program you are interested in) or call your local office at 1.800.272.3900 at least one week prior to the program. If you are interested in registering for a program that is less than a week away, please call your local office to see if space is still available.


Building Caregiver Skills

Are you caring for a person with Alzheimer's disease? We invite you to take part in this three-part program and learn practical strategies for improving communication and managing challenging behaviors with a person with memory problems.

Part I:

Building Your Communication Skills
Learn how changes in the brain due to Alzheimer’s disease can cause challenges in communicating. Explore strategies to improve communication.

Part II:

Managing Challenging Behaviors
Learn problem-solving strategies and apply the strategies to specific behaviors.

Part III:

Breaking Down Barriers to Successful Caregiving
Address potential barriers to implementing the strategies you’ve learned.

All programs are free,
but a donation of $10 per person (or family) per session is suggested.
