Building Caregiver Skills

Are you caring for a person with Alzheimer's disease? We invite you to take part in this three-part program and learn practical strategies for improving communication and managing challenging behaviors with a person with memory problems.

Part I:	Building Your Communication Skills Learn how changes in the brain due to Alzheimer’s disease can cause challenges in communicating. Explore strategies to improve communication.
Part II:	Managing Challenging Behaviors Learn problem-solving strategies and apply the strategies to specific behaviors.
Part III:	Breaking Down Barriers to Successful Caregiving Address potential barriers to implementing the strategies you’ve learned.

All programs are free,
but a donation of $10 per person (or family) per session is suggested.
